Trump Announces Agreement Regarding Greenland

US President Donald Trump has stated that the United States has reached an agreement with Denmark and Greenland, granting the US permanent and cost-free control over security in Greenland.

In a post on Truth Social, his social media platform, Trump stated that the agreement addresses numerous US concerns.

“This is the Infinite Life Agreement; there is no time limit. We feel very honoured and proud of what has just happened, and everything agreed upon today will be appreciated by the American people. We will immediately begin the process of developing a large-scale military presence in the Greenland region, which will be quite significant. We will work together with the Greenlandic community in the development and construction process,” said Trump.

He further added that no US adversary is permitted to have military bases, a military presence, or undertake sensitive investments in Greenland without express written approval from the United States.
