Trump Angered by Two Muslim Congresswomen, Demands They Be Expelled from America
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, President Donald Trump was angered by the actions of US Congress members Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, who shouted protests during his State of the Union address. Trump demanded that the two Muslim women be sent ‘back to where they came from’.
During Trump’s speech on Tuesday, Tlaib, an American citizen of Palestinian descent, and Omar, an American citizen of Somali descent, criticised Trump as the president praised the government’s crackdown on immigrants.
Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday night that the two members of parliament had behaved like ‘crooked and corrupt politicians’ who should be expelled from the US.
‘When you look at Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, the low-IQ people, as they were screaming uncontrollably last night at a very elegant State of the Union address, a very important and beautiful event, they had wild and crazy eyes, CRAZY, who are mentally disturbed and sick, who, frankly, look like they should be in a mental institution,’ Trump wrote, as reported by Al Jazeera.
‘When people can behave like that, and know that they are Crooked and Corrupt Politicians, who are very bad for our country, we should send them ’back to where they came from’ – as quickly as possible,’ said Trump.
Trump believes that the two can only damage the United States.
Omar and Tlaib were among a small group of Democratic members of parliament who protested during Trump’s nearly two-hour speech on Tuesday.
