Trucks Prohibited From Using These Roads During Lebaran Mudik: Note the Schedule
Jakarta – The government has set restrictions on freight transport operations during the mudik and return period for Lebaran 2026. The policy applies to large trucks on a number of toll roads and national roads across Indonesia. The rules are contained in a Joint Decree (SKB) between the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, and the Traffic Corps of the Indonesian National Police (Korlantas), concerning traffic management and cross-border movements during Lebaran 2026/1447 Hijriah. The restrictions take effect from Friday, 13 March 2026 at 12:00 local time until Sunday, 29 March 2026 at 24:00 local time.
Vehicles restricted include freight vehicles with three or more axles, vehicles with trailers or semi-trailers, and trucks transporting excavated materials such as soil, sand, stone, mined products, and building materials. The policy is applied to maintain smooth traffic flow during the mudik and Lebaran return period.
