truck veers, collides with power pole and motorcycle, causing severe damage in Bogor

A box truck was severely damaged after being involved in an accident on the Cileungsi-Jonggol main road in Cileungsi subdistrict, Bogor, West Java. The truck struck a power pole and a motorcycle. ‘Based on witness testimony, before the traffic accident occurred, the box truck was moving from Cileungsi towards Jonggol,’ said acting head of the traffic police unit of Bogor Regional Police, IPda Ares Rahman, Friday (29 May 2026). Ares stated the incident occurred around 7am local time. Upon arriving at the scene, the truck swerved to the左 side of the road. ‘At the same time, the front of the box truck collided with a power pole located on the左 side of the road,’ he added. Additionally, the truck also struck a motorcycle. At that moment, the motorcycle rider was exiting the main gate of a residential area at the location. ’ No casualties, with material damage estimated at approximately Rp 10 million,’ he explained. As a result of the accident, the truck’s front end was severely damaged. The vehicle has since been removed from the scene.
