Truck traffic diversion implemented on toll roads to Merak during Lebaran exodus

Traffic management measures have been implemented at toll road intersections near Cilegon Timur in Banten province as part of Operation Ketupat Lebaran 2026. During this period, authorities have prohibited trucks from crossing via Merak Port and instead directed them to exit at the Cilegon Timur toll gate to cross through Pelindo 2 Ciwandan Port. These traffic engineering measures are designed to ease congestion at Merak Port caused by the high volume of private vehicles and buses during the Lebaran holiday period. The redirection of truck traffic to alternative ports helps maintain smoother traffic flow for passenger vehicles at the main crossing point.
