Truck Carrying 10 Tonnes of Chicken Feed Crashes into Bridge, Badly Damaged

A truck carrying chicken feed was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Jalan Cililin-Rancapanggung, Kampung Sangiang RT 03/RW 10, Batulayang Village, Cililin District, West Bandung Regency, West Java, on Thursday (27/8/2026) morning. The truck, with registration number T 9331 TM, crashed into the wall and iron barrier of Sangiang Bridge after reportedly losing control.

As a result of the incident, the front of the vehicle suffered severe damage. “The accident occurred at around 5.30 a.m. Western Indonesia Time. The truck was carrying approximately 10 tonnes of chicken feed. While descending at Sangiang Bridge, the vehicle was obstructed by a public minibus, causing it to lose control and crash into the wall and iron barrier of the bridge,” said Cililin Police Chief IPTU Isman Rusmandijanto when contacted.

The truck, driven by Nana Supriatna (53), was travelling from the Cileungsi area to deliver chicken feed to the Pasir Panjang area in Rancapanggung, Cililin. The driver, a resident of Karawang, suffered an injury to the back of his head and abrasions on his left leg.

“There was only one victim, namely the driver. He sustained minor injuries and has already received treatment,” Isman said.
