Truck Breaks Down on Ciputat Flyover in South Tangerang Following Brake Failure

A truck experienced brake failure and broke down on Dewi Sartika Street in Ciputat, specifically on the Ciputat flyover in South Tangerang, Banten. Police immediately assisted in inspecting the vehicle and managing traffic flow.

“Traffic police responded to public reports of a truck breakdown on the Ciputat flyover,” said Ciputat Timur Police Chief Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq to journalists on Monday, 1 June 2026.

The truck broke down at approximately 2pm. Police reported that traffic was flowing smoothly, and a technical service team was inspecting the vehicle.

“The truck is currently being serviced by technicians, and the situation remains under control,” he added.

Police officers remained at the scene throughout the response to ensure traffic safety.
