Truck breakdown causes traffic congestion on the Tangerang–Jakarta Toll Road towards Jakarta

One truck broke down on the Tangerang–Jakarta Toll Road heading to Jakarta this morning, causing traffic congestion in the area.

“Karawaci KM 22 - Tangerang KM 19 is congested, with heavy traffic volume. Kunciran KM 16 - Kembangan KM 08+800 is congested; there is handling of a Dump truck with a wheel obstruction in lane 2/centre,” wrote Jasa Marga on its official X account on Wednesday (4 March 2026).

Congestion also occurred on the toll road from Kembangan KM07 to Kebon Jeruk KM03+400, due to high traffic volume.

Meanwhile, TransJakarta reported that several of its bus routes were affected by the breakdown. TransJakarta noted congestion occurred near the rest area KM13 towards Jelambar as a result of the congestion.

“Routes S11, S61, T11, and T12 experienced delays due to the truck breakdown around the rest area KM13 towards Jelambar, which caused congestion on the Tangerang–Jakarta Toll Road,” it said.
