Trisakti Students Motorcade to DPR Building for Protest

A group of students from Trisakti University is set to hold a demonstration in front of the DPR RI building in Central Jakarta today. They departed in a motorcade led by a command vehicle. According to monitoring on Friday (19/6/2026), the student mass departed from the 12 May Reform Monument at Trisakti University. They had gathered around 2.15 p.m. Western Indonesian Time. The students were dressed in their dark blue university blazers and carried banners, flags, and posters. At 2.34 p.m. Western Indonesian Time, a group from Esa Unggul University passed by and encouraged the Trisakti students to move. In this protest, the Trisakti students are carrying the banner of ‘Tritura’, or the Three Demands of the People. Their demands include national economic and political restoration and the return of civilian supremacy. ‘First, we want national economic and political restoration. Second, we want to eradicate the incompetence of today’s state officials. And third, we want to restore civilian supremacy,’ said student representative and Trisakti Student Presidency Foreign Minister Arief Rizquna at the location.
