Tring! by Pegadaian Forestra 2026: The Largest Forest Orchestra Harmony at Orchid Forest Cikole
Ahead of its staging on 29 August 2026, Tring! by Pegadaian Forestra 2026 officially held a press conference at Habitat Park SCBD, Jakarta. The occasion served to introduce the concept, collaborations and various innovations to be presented at Indonesia’s largest forest orchestra performance.
The event was attended by key figures behind the scenes, including Barry Akbar as CEO of ABM, Jay Subyakto as Creative Director, and Erwin Gutawa as Music Director.
Their presence, alongside a number of performing musicians, underscored Forestra’s readiness to reaffirm its identity as a meeting space between nature, music and people.
Located at Orchid Forest Cikole in Lembang, Bandung, Forestra 2026 promises a multisensory experience. The blend of cross-genre collaboration with the pine forest landscape, artistic staging and visuals designed to merge with nature forms the main appeal — something that can only be experienced on site.
This year, the spirit of collaboration is realised through performances by the Erwin Gutawa Orchestra, which will accompany a line-up of top musicians with highly contrasting characters. Erwin Gutawa explained that the arrangement process was carried out specially to provide fresh colour without eroding the original identity of each musician.
“For me, orchestral arrangement is not about changing a song, but about giving it room to speak in a different way. At Forestra, the whole process becomes even more special because music meets the natural atmosphere,” said Erwin Gutawa.
Baskara Putra (Hindia), speaking on behalf of the performers, also expressed his enthusiasm. According to him, Forestra gives musicians the space to present their work in a more complete and meaningful context.
CEO of ABM, Barry Akbar, emphasised that Forestra’s vision goes beyond an annual music show. He wants Forestra to become a destination concert that encourages people to return to Bandung every year.
