Trimegah Opens Retail Investor Access to Corporate Bond IPOs via Digital Platform
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM) has carried out an update to its Trima+ digital investment application, one of the developments of which provides retail investors with access to corporate bonds, Government Securities (SBN), and secondary market bonds.
Through the application, the company has become the first securities firm in the Indonesian capital market to offer online purchases of corporate bond Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) via a digital application.
“In addition, it is also the first platform to offer bond transactions on the secondary market with a Bid & Offer mechanism, so investors can place buy and sell prices according to their desired investment targets,” said Anung Rony Hascaryo, Director of Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia, in an official statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Anung said the launch of the bond feature in the Trima+ investment application is supported by the considerable remaining opportunity for developing Indonesia’s retail bond market.
PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) recorded that the proportion of bond investors stands at around 5.32 per cent of Indonesia’s total capital market investors, which reached 28.9 million as of June 2026.
“This shows that investor participation in fixed income instruments still has room to continue growing,” said Anung.
Beyond providing access to bonds, Anung explained that the Trima+ application update also allows investors to access stocks, mutual funds, and bonds within a single application.
In addition, the update brings a more modern UI/UX, more convenient In-App Registration, and various refinements designed to enhance investor comfort when investing.
“We want to deliver a simpler, more integrated investment experience that can support investors at every stage of their investment journey,” said Anung.
Meanwhile, on the stock detail page, he explained that investors can also access more comprehensive information, ranging from fundamental data, technical data, trading activity, to various market insights available directly within the application.
“Trima+ also offers education and market information features such as Trima+ Highlights, Trima+ Ideas, and Trima+ Picks to help investors understand market dynamics and support better investment decision-making,” said Anung.
