Tribe-people identified

AMBON, Maluku: Officials from the ministry of social services announced yesterday that they had registered another 215 families from an isolated tribe on Buru Island.

The head of the social service office in Maluku, Karno, said a team earlier this month had listed a total 764 people in three villages.

As reported by Antara, Karno said there were another five villages left to be inspected. (mds)
