Chairwoman of the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) movement, Tri Tito Karnavian, has urged the younger generation to prepare themselves from an early age to face increasingly fierce competition in 2045. She conveyed this message during a community event at Makale Art Market in Tana Toraja, South Sulawesi.

Tri Tito Karnavian stated that future challenges will not only come from fellow humans but also from rapidly advancing technology. She encouraged children to have broad aspirations and not limit their future to their home regions, as opportunities to learn, work, and create are available across Indonesia and abroad.

Beyond formal education, she emphasized the need for young people to hone skills according to their interests and talents. She noted that success takes different paths for everyone, and the most important principles are working honestly, not breaking the law, and continuously improving one’s quality. “Work is not only formal; it can also be informal. You must be proud of what you produce,” she said.

Tri also encouraged the youth to take advantage of easily accessible learning resources to enhance their knowledge and skills, aiming for them to grow into confident, independent individuals who can benefit their families, communities, and the nation.

The event also featured the handover of government assistance, including sports packages for three high schools and electronic identity cards (KTP-el) for ten students. Educational campaigns were conducted on the dangers of online loans, the hazards of drugs, and the importance of encouraging children to eat fish as part of efforts to improve human resource quality from an early age.
