Trenggono and Rosan Report to Prabowo in Hambalang regarding Update on 100 Fishing Villages
President Prabowo Subianto received the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, and the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board/CEO of Danantara Indonesia, Rosan Roeslani, in Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Tuesday (1/9/2026).
“Both ministers met with the President to report on the development progress of the first 100 Fishing Villages, as well as the distribution of vessel assistance for fishermen,” stated Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in a written statement, as quoted on Wednesday (2/9/2026).
According to Teddy, the development of Fishing Villages is a key government priority in the effort to improve the welfare of coastal communities. The development of these areas is expected to support community activities while creating a more decent and productive environment.
In addition to the development of Fishing Villages, Prabowo also received reports regarding the distribution of vessel assistance for fishermen. This assistance is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen the capacity of fishermen in conducting maritime activities. Such infrastructural support is expected to increase productivity and welfare for fishermen across various regions.
