Trenggalek Regional-Owned Enterprise Achieves National Recognition Again Through BPR Jwalita

PT BPR Jwalita (Perseroda) Kabupaten Trenggalek has once again achieved national recognition. This locally owned bank successfully brought home the Golden Trophy at the TOP BUMD Awards 2026 in Jakarta on Monday (13/4). The Golden Trophy achievement was earned after BPR Jwalita maintained its 5-Star BUMD predicate for three consecutive years. This consistent management performance has been recorded from 2024 to 2026. Alongside the company’s achievement, Trenggalek Regent Mochamad Nur Arifin received the TOP BUMD Mentor 2026 award. This appreciation was given for the active role of the regional head in supporting the operational progress of BPR Jwalita. BPR Jwalita’s President Director, Dwi Fraidianriani, was also selected as TOP CEO BUMD 2026 in the same event. She emphasised that all these achievements are the result of collective efforts and trust from the community. “I extend my utmost gratitude to all parties, the Trenggalek Regency Government, our beloved BPR Jwalita customers, and the community for their trust in this regency-owned BPR and the entire BPR Jwalita team,” she stated in a written remark on Tuesday (14/4). She continued that BPR Jwalita’s management is now focused on efforts to improve service quality comprehensively. This is done to ensure that financial services can reach the community more broadly. The 5-Star BUMD predicate is awarded based on an assessment of corporate governance deemed very good. The assessment also covers aspects of innovation and the utilisation of information technology in banking operations. Besides internal factors, BPR Jwalita’s contribution to regional economic development is a key point in the evaluation. This award is expected to strengthen the company’s role as a driver of the SME sector in Trenggalek. “May this award serve as motivation for us to continue contributing to regional development in Trenggalek Regency, enhancing SME empowerment,” added Dwi. She affirmed that the company will also continue to strive for the development of banking products tailored to local needs and wisdom. This strategy is also aimed at strengthening BPR’s position as a supporter of Trenggalek Regency’s Original Local Revenue (PAD).
