Deputy Regent of Trenggalek, Syah Mohammad Natanegara, symbolically handed over 14 trucks to villages that have completed 100 per cent construction of their cooperatives at the Makodim 0806 Trenggalek on Tuesday (7/4).

Syah expressed thanks to PT Agrinas and the Trenggalek Kodim apparatus as facilitators of the aid that has served as intermediaries for the development of the Merah Putih Village/Urban Village Cooperatives (KDKMP) in Trenggalek Regency. He hopes that these vehicles will serve as a stimulus for other villages to accelerate the construction of KDKMP facilities and infrastructure in their respective areas.

“Today we have received 14 trucks, which we hope will bring benefits, especially for the cooperatives in Trenggalek Regency. The hope is that in the future, this will motivate other villages to speed up the construction of their KDKMP in each village, because it has been proven that those who have completed 100 per cent will soon receive the trucks and facilities,” said Syah.

To date, there are already 14 KDKMPs in Trenggalek that are 100 per cent complete, with 10 buildings to follow this month. The construction of KDKMP across all villages in Trenggalek is targeted to be completed in August this year.

“The Dandim also mentioned earlier that, God willing, this month there will be another 10 KDKMPs that will receive something like this (trucks) as well,” added Syah.

The Merah Putih Village Cooperatives are scheduled to begin operations in August, following the inauguration by President Prabowo Subianto.

Meanwhile, the Commander of Kodim 0806 Trenggalek also stated that in addition to the trucks, in the future there will be pickup trucks and three-wheeled vehicles for transporting agricultural commodities and vegetables. These fleets will be used to support the kitchen of the Free Nutritious Meals Programme.
