JAKARTA – The West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police (Polda NTB) arrested Ais Setiawati, suspected treasurer of major drug dealer Erwin Iskandar alias Ko Erwin, in Mataram on Thursday, 26 February 2026.

The Director of Narcotics Investigation at Polda NTB, Brigadier General Roman Elhaj, was apprehended almost simultaneously with Ko Erwin, who had been detained whilst attempting to flee to Malaysia through North Sumatran waters.

“We have also arrested one of our wanted persons named Ais, who served as the treasurer. We arrested her in Mataram. The Criminal Investigation Directorate arrested Ko Erwin yesterday in North Sumatra, near the Malaysian border. We have secured another wanted person in Mataram,” Roman stated when met at the National Police Criminal Investigation Directorate building in Jakarta on Friday, 27 February 2026.

The funds were subsequently transferred to Ko Erwin as the primary dealer.

In carrying out her role, Ais also met with the former Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit at Bima City Police Station, ACP Malaungi, who was subordinate to former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro.

“Yes, that is correct (they did meet) at Marina Inn Hotel in Bima where Ko Erwin was present, along with Malaungi, Ais, and Anita,” Roman stated.

Officers seized only her mobile telephone as evidence.

“We did not find any new evidence items; only her mobile phone that she was carrying,” Ais said.

Currently, Ais has been transferred to Jakarta to undergo questioning by the National Police Criminal Investigation Directorate’s Directorate of Narcotics Crime.

The examination is being conducted confrontationally with other suspects in the same case.

Furthermore, Ko Erwin and former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro have also been designated as suspects by the National Police Criminal Investigation Directorate.

The investigation into this narcotics abuse case represents a development arising from the matter against AKBP Didik.

He has been designated as a suspect and has been subjected to dismissal without honour (PTDH).
