Travoy Makes It Easy for All Generations to Enjoy Comfortable Toll Road Journeys
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk has introduced a digital travel assistant in the form of the Travoy app. Travoy is an abbreviation for “Travel with Comfort and Joy”, reflecting the hope of the Jasa Marga Group for toll road users to travel comfortably and enjoyably. Managing Director of Jasa Marga, Rivan A. Purwantono, stated that the Travoy app can be downloaded for free on smartphones. Based on Kompas.com observations as of Thursday (30/04/2026), Travoy has been downloaded more than 500,000 times on the Play Store. According to Rivan, the real-time toll road CCTV feature is the most popular, with 3.59 million accesses. This indicates the needs of road users to monitor traffic conditions in real time, allowing them to determine more optimal travel times and routes, especially during Eid exodus and return flows. “It is followed by the toll fare feature with 500,000 accesses, the map feature with 240,000 accesses, rest area information with 138,000 accesses, and digital receipt with 103,000 accesses,” said Rivan, quoted from an official Jasa Marga statement on Thursday (30/04/2026). Updates to the app continue to enhance user comfort. Jasa Marga has again refreshed Travoy to Android version 4.9.2 and iOS with various innovations in February 2026. Therefore, Travoy now includes Travoy Pay for multi-biller transactions, top-up features for electronic money card balances, and maps displaying toll road conditions, maintenance, traffic engineering, and Router Finder to help select the best travel routes. User safety on toll roads is paramount. Travoy now features support called Red Zone to provide information on accident-prone points, CCTV framing in the Traffic Info menu that automatically adjusts if traffic engineering or disruptions occur. The ease of travel through the Travoy app assistance is felt by an office worker from Jakarta, Akila (25). She shared her experience using the app with Kompas.com. “I’ve been using Travoy for about two months now, usually to check routes and real-time road conditions, because last month there were many holidays and I also had a family trip,” said Akila to Kompas.com, quoted on Thursday (30/04/2026). Akila also feels helped because she doesn’t need to switch apps when wanting to know the toll fare on the route being traversed while checking the sufficiency of the electronic money card balance. However, it turns out that not only Akila in the family utilises Travoy, but also her parents. The user experience on the Travoy app is considered to facilitate users from all generations, from the young to the elderly, in using it. “My parents usually check if the roads are congested or not. I told them that on the Travoy app, they can also see it and even watch the CCTV directly,” explained Akila. She hopes the Travoy app can continue to be developed for the better to increasingly facilitate and smooth toll road users’ journeys in all conditions.
