Travelling Around Jakarta for Just Rp 1 During Eid 2026, Here's How

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has ensured conveniences for residents celebrating Eid al-Fitr 2026 in the capital, including a policy to waive fares for public transportation. DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung stated that all modes of transport managed by the provincial government will be free during the Eid period. “If there are still Jakarta residents who do not return to their hometowns, they can still maintain family ties via video calls and the like. Therefore, the DKI Jakarta Government will provide various facilities,” Pramono said in his statement quoted on Friday (20/3/2026). “One of them is transportation during Eid al-Fitr; everything managed by the DKI Jakarta Government will be free by us.
