Travellers on Jakarta–Merak Toll Road Can Enjoy Healthcare Services During Ramadan Holiday Period
JAKARTA – PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jawa Bagian Barat (RJBB) has prepared various additional services for travellers using the Jakarta–Merak toll road during the 2026 Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr holiday period.
These services have been arranged to enhance passenger comfort during their journey home for the holidays.
One of the key facilities being prepared is the MyPertamina Rest Area, which provides a resting place along with various services for travellers.
“We are providing services for travellers including 210 24-hour fuel stations and MyPertamina Rest Areas at kilometre 43,” Agung stated in comments received by Kompas.com on Thursday, 12 March 2026.
At the MyPertamina Rest Area, travellers can utilise various facilities, such as healthcare services, children’s play areas, and haircut facilities.
In the RJBB region, MyPertamina Rest Area services are available at several locations.
“There are also two fuel and Pertamina emergency kiosk service points, as well as various promotions through the MyPertamina application,” Agung added.
During the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period this year, vehicle traffic heading to the Banten region is projected to increase by approximately 28.9 per cent compared to the previous period.
This is because Banten is one of the main routes for the holiday exodus and return journey, particularly on the Merak–Cilegon route which provides access to Merak Port.
To anticipate this surge, Pertamina has also prepared a Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force (RAFI) team to ensure fuel stock security and service readiness for travellers.
Meanwhile, Area Manager for Communications, Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jawa Bagian Barat Susanto August Satria has assured that energy distribution will remain secure during the holiday period.
“This ensures that fuel and LPG needs for residents in the Banten region remain met. The public is urged to remain prudent in handling information and avoid panic buying because energy stocks are in a safe condition,” Satria stressed.
Pertamina projects the peak holiday exodus for 2026 will occur on 14–15 March and 18–20 March, while the peak return journey is estimated to take place on 24–25 March and 28–29 March 2026.
