Travel Rerouting: Green Line KRL Only Goes as Far as Palmerah Station

The Rangkasbitung–Tanah Abang KRL route is undergoing travel rerouting. KRL trains from Rangkasbitung now only travel as far as Palmerah Station before being dispatched back towards Rangkasbitung.

“Commuter Line Rangkasbitung–Tanah Abang services are currently operating only as far as Palmerah Station. This is due to crowds around the Palmerah–Tanah Abang corridor,” KAI Commuter wrote on its official X account on Thursday (27/8/2026) at 20.14 WIB.

KRL trains are not reaching Tanah Abang Station. Passengers heading towards Rangkasbitung can board from Palmerah Station.

“Trains then return towards Serpong/Parung Panjang/Rangkasbitung due to crowds around the Palmerah–Tanah Abang corridor. We urge everyone to prioritise safety and to listen to and follow the instructions of officers,” KAI Commuter wrote.

For context, the AMPB crowd has dispersed from the DPR building after conveying their aspirations. After the AMPB crowd dispersed, another group arrived.

The other group then remained until the evening. Police are still at the location and are working to disperse the crowd.
