Traumatised Staff Member Seeks Leave After Alleged Assault by Bone DPRD Chair

Yuli Nofita Sari (29), a part-time PPPK employee, says she has been traumatised after allegedly being assaulted by Bone DPRD Speaker Andi Tenri Walinonong. Yuli has requested permission not to come to the office since the incident occurred.

“Since it happened, I haven’t been able to come into the office. I still can’t accept it, and I also feel traumatised,” Yuli said, as reported by detikSulsel on Thursday (30/7).

Yuli said she had already asked her direct supervisor for permission, citing her trauma. She apologised for being unable to come to the office for the time being.

“No, I haven’t been to the office since the incident. But I’ve already told my head of division, saying sorry that I can’t come in yet,” she said.

CCTV at Scene Confirmed Undamaged

The alleged assault on Yuli took place at the Bone DPRD canteen on Wednesday (22 July) at around 14:30 Wita. The part-time PPPK employee was allegedly pelted with cakes and doused with water by Andi Tenri in public.

Rismono Sarlim, Chairman of Commission 1 of the Bone DPRD, confirmed that the CCTV located at the mosque near the canteen where the incident took place was not damaged. He said only the High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) cable was broken.

“The CCTV isn’t damaged. I just checked it myself with the Council Secretary,” Rismono said on Thursday (29/7).
