Transportation service

From Warta Kota

The electricity and telephone rate increases as well as the
fuel price hike have adversely affected the life of most
citizens, including operators of public transportation.

Transportation companies have prepared to raise the fares, as
reported by the mass media. However, as I have experienced,
operators of urban and suburban transportations have never made
any efforts to improve their services, leaving the vehicles in a
deteriorating condition.

Now with the opportunity to increase the fares, the
transportation operators have no reason to argue that spare parts
and component prices are too high to enable them to provide
better service or maintenance. The same applies to city buses,
some of which keep running despite their poor condition.
