Transportation agency changes traffic

JAKARTA: City transportation agency will change the traffic
routes on roads in West Jakarta's Kota Tua and Sunda Kelapa
areas, starting Tuesday.

The agency said that Jl. Kopi -- from its junction with Jl.
Kali Besar Barat to its intersection with Jl. Tiang Bendera V --
would be changed from a one-way street to accommodate traffic
from two directions.

Meanwhile, Jl. Kali Besar Barat, which is one-way southwards
to Jl. Kopi, will remain one-way; however, traffic will instead
be re-routed north towards Jl. Nelayan Barat.

The agency also asked that the public buses of Metro Mini U29,
KWK B06, Mikrolet M25, change their routes in accordance with the
new traffic routes. --JP
