Transmigration Minister Launches Export of 459 Tonnes of Central Sulawesi Durian to China Worth Rp42.5 Billion

Transmigration Minister Muhammad Iftitah Sulaiman Suryanagara launched the export of 459 tonnes of durian from Central Sulawesi to China in Palu on Thursday (16/4), with a value reaching Rp42.5 billion, part of which comes from transmigrant farmers originating from Parigi Moutong Regency. He emphasised that this accomplishment proves that the transmigration transformation initiated by President Prabowo Subianto is no longer just about relocating populations but can also serve as a national economic growth engine.
