Transmedia Welcomes 280 Participants for Kemnaker's MagangHub 2026 Programme
Transmedia has officially launched the onboarding for the Ministry of Manpower’s (Kemnaker) MagangHub 2026 programme under the theme ‘Start Your Journey, Shape Your Future’. A total of 280 participants have joined the programme, distributed across Transmedia’s business units: 77 at Trans TV, 131 at Detik.com, 55 at CNN Indonesia, and 17 at CNBC Indonesia. The event commenced with a religious sermon by Ustadz Muhammad Maulana, followed by addresses from Director of Transmedia Latif Harnoko and Director of Transmedia Warnedy Satmana. Latif Harnoko welcomed the interns and encouraged them to enjoy the experience, assuring them that working at Transmedia does not involve issues of excessive working hours or overbearing superiors. ‘Welcome, enjoy it and take it to heart. Find the best friends here who will support you,’ he said at the Menara Bank Mega Auditorium in South Jakarta. Warnedy explained that participants would not only gain work experience but also have the opportunity to be recruited as permanent employees if they perform well. ‘If any of you are selected, and you are serious about a career in media, work diligently and we will choose you to become permanent employees,’ he stated. He noted that the programme successfully brings together students from various educational backgrounds and regions, describing the diversity as a small reflection of Indonesia within the Transmedia work environment. ‘A small reflection of Indonesia exists at Transmedia. From the beginning when we established Trans TV, we recruited young people to reflect that Transmedia or Trans TV is a reflection of a small Indonesia,’ he explained. Warnedy also highlighted Transmedia’s broad business ecosystem, spanning television, digital media, and OTT platforms, including Trans TV, CNN Indonesia, CNBC Indonesia, Detikcom, and Transvision. He assured participants that career opportunities are not limited to a single unit, as high-performing interns may be recruited or develop their careers across different units within the Transmedia ecosystem. The onboarding event served as an initial step for participants to understand the professional work culture in the media industry and prepare them to contribute optimally.
