Transmedia Organises Free Mudik, Dispatches Over 500 Employees to 40 Destinations
Transmedia has organised free homebound travel for hundreds of employees to several regions. The “Mudik Seru 2026” programme involves 540 employees travelling to 40 destinations across Java.
The departure ceremony for mudik participants took place at Transmedia headquarters on Tendean Street, South Jakarta, on Monday, 16 March 2026. Present at the venue was Anita Ratnasari Tanjung, Founder of the CT Arsa Foundation and spouse of CT Corp Founder & Chairman Chairul Tanjung. Also in attendance were Transmedia Director Latif Harnoko, Trans7 Chief Executive Atiek Nur Wahyuni, and several other members of the management board.
The free mudik programme represents the 11th iteration by Transmedia, involving 540 employees alongside their families. The mudik destinations target 40 locations across Java, ranging from Surabaya, Solo, Malang to Yogyakarta.
“Praise be to God that on this day we have been granted blessing by Allah, so that we can gather together in good health. Therefore today we can launch the programme called Transmedia’s Mudik Seru programme,” Anita said in her address.
Anita described the mudik programme as an opportunity for silaturahmi (strengthening family and social bonds) among Transmedia employees. She hoped the 2026 mudik would proceed smoothly.
“In Surah An-Nisa verse 1, Allah commands us to be mindful of Allah and maintain the bonds of silaturahmi, as Allah will continue to watch over and protect. The important point here is that silaturahmi is extremely important. So please strengthen your bonds with your siblings, family, and of course your parents,” Anita said.
“Everyone must follow the rules, be disciplined, and be happy. You should return with a pure and sincere heart. You will become even more united. And you will also gain new spirit working with Transmedia, and perform even better together with Transmedia,” she added.
Anita stated that the mudik programme involves 540 employees. The destinations cover various regions across Java.
“There are 540 people. And praise be to God we have dispatched them smoothly through the Mudik Seru Bersama Transmedia programme. This mudik covers 40 destinations. So it is divided between Central Java and East Java,” she said.
On the same occasion, Trans7 Chief Executive Atiek Nur Wahyuni said that the programme has been running for many years. She hoped that the mudik implementation ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2026 would proceed smoothly.
“Hopefully this event or activity can continue, yes. Then also may the Transmedia family who are travelling today arrive safely at their destinations, and can also celebrate Eid al-Fitr with all their families, and of course return safely afterwards,” she said.
