Transmart Launches 'Sapu Bersih Stock' Clearance Sale Across 44 Stores
The retail landscape is continuously evolving, and customer expectations for shopping experiences have shifted accordingly. No longer just a place to fulfil daily needs, shopping centres are now required to be spaces that unify retail, culinary, and lifestyle in a single visit. Responding to this shift, PT Trans Retail Indonesia, through its Transmart brand, has embarked on a significant transformation journey, revamping store formats across Indonesia towards a new generation of shopping concepts that are more open and integrated. This move aligns with the company’s broader vision of creating an open-loop ecosystem that connects retail, shopping centres, MSMEs, culinary tenants, and customers in one interconnected experience. As part of this ongoing transformation, Transmart is directly involving the public by launching the ‘Sapu Bersih Stock’ programme, which will run at 44 stores nationally throughout June 2026, while stocks last. The programme allows existing stock to be released at special prices, providing space for stores to display new product arrangements and ranges in line with the transformation. Early touches of this transformation can already be experienced by customers at select outlets, such as Transmart Kota Kasablanka and Central Park, where the new concept is already operational. These stores serve as a tangible preview of the direction other outlets will follow, including the rejuvenation of Transmall as part of a comprehensive overhaul of tenant spaces and services. The Sapu Bersih Stock programme offers a wide variety of products, focusing on four main categories: electronics, bicycles, mattresses and bedding, and luggage and travel equipment, alongside other household necessities. The programme has been met with enthusiasm at stores such as Transmart Balikpapan Daun Village, Lampung, Buah Batu Bandung, and Rungkut Surabaya, while on digital channels, organic views on Instagram and TikTok have reached hundreds of thousands. The company emphasised that this is not merely a discount programme but part of a long-term journey towards a more open and integrated retail ecosystem that unites retail, shopping centres, MSMEs, and customers in a single experience. The transformation is just beginning, and Transmart is inviting the public to be part of the story from its first chapter by visiting the nearest Transmart store throughout June 2026 to enjoy the special prices and witness the evolving new face of the retailer.
