Transjakarta's Setiabudi Bus Stop Officially Renamed Halte Integritas, KPK Aims to Keep Anti-Corruption Message in Public Memory

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), together with the Provincial Government of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta and PT Transjakarta, inaugurated the naming of Halte Integritas Setiabudi on Sunday, 21 June 2026. The naming is part of efforts to expand the campaign for integrity values to the public through everyday public spaces. The inauguration of Halte Integritas Setiabudi was held simultaneously with the inauguration of the HR Rasuna Said road area. The event was one of a series of commemorations for the 499th Anniversary of Jakarta. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto, Jakarta DPRD Chairman Suhud Alynudin, former DKI Jakarta Governor Sutiyoso, and officials from the Jakarta Provincial Government, KPK, and PT Transjakarta. KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto emphasised that the naming of Halte Integritas Setiabudi is not merely a ceremony or a name change for a public transport facility. According to him, a name attached to a place carries meaning and a message that the public can continuously remember. He expressed hope that the existence of Halte Integritas Setiabudi could become a collective reminder for the public about the importance of upholding integrity values in daily life. ‘My hope is that a naming which shows identity can become a collective memory. People will remember, people will safeguard, and will do something positive in accordance with its name,’ said Setyo. According to him, the bus stop is not just a location for passengers to get on and off or merely a place people pass through every day. More than that, the attached name is expected to build public awareness of the importance of behaviour with integrity. Setyo revealed that the idea for naming Halte Integritas Setiabudi arose from his experience as a public transport user. He admitted to frequently using various mass transit modes in Jakarta such as the KRL, Transjakarta, MRT, and LRT. From that experience, he saw that public spaces have an important role as an educational medium close to the community. Therefore, he asked the KPK’s Deputy for Education and Public Participation to coordinate with the Jakarta Provincial Government to realise the idea.
