Transjakarta Tourism Route to Operate Until Evening During Eid Holiday Period 18–24 March 2026
Jakarta – The Transjakarta special tourism route service during the Eid holiday will operate until late evening from 18 to 24 March 2026.
For regular services to tourist destinations, buses will operate from 05:00 to 23:59 WIB. Meanwhile, dedicated tourist buses will operate from 10:00 to 17:00 WIB.
“This measure is a follow-up to the 2026 Eid Operations Plan from the Jakarta Provincial Transportation Agency to support the smooth flow of outbound and return travel, as well as access to tourist destinations,” said Welfizon Yuza, President Director of PT Transjakarta, in an official statement on Wednesday (18 March 2026).
The special routes will serve passengers travelling to popular destinations in the capital, including Ancol, the National Monument (Monas), and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).
For passengers heading to terminals, stations, and ports, Transjakarta will implement several adjustments:
A shuttle service connecting Tanjung Priok Port–Tanjung Priok will be provided for travellers using maritime transport. This route will operate from 13–29 March 2026 with operating hours adjusted to ship arrival schedules.
Routes passing through intercity KAI railway stations (Gambir Station and Pasar Senen Station) and transit stations will have extended operating hours until 23:59 WIB during 25–29 March 2026.
Round-the-clock bus operations will remain available on main corridors (Corridors 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14) to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
Specifically on 25–27 March 2026, assistance routes (EID1–EID5) will be opened, connecting Pulo Gebang Terminal to various other terminals in Jakarta (Senen, Tanjung Priok, Kampung Rambutan, Pasar Minggu, and Kalideres) from 00:00 to 05:00 WIB.
On the first day of Eid (21 or 22 March 2026), bus operations will commence later in the day. Buses will begin operating at 09:00 WIB to allow drivers and field personnel to perform Eid prayers.
Additionally, the public can enjoy Transjakarta services at a special fare of Rp 1 on Eid day itself.
