Transjakarta to Start Operations at 9am During Eid al-Adha 2026

Transjakarta services will commence operations at 9am WIB on Eid al-Adha 2026, which falls on Wednesday, 27 May 2026.

Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and CSR at PT Transportasi Jakarta, stated that staff will be able to perform the Eid al-Adha prayers first.

‘This operational adjustment for Eid al-Adha ensures services continue smoothly while providing staff the opportunity to observe their religious duties,’ Wardhani said, as reported by Antara on Tuesday, 26 May 2026.

‘This adjustment reflects the company’s support for Eid al-Adha observances without compromising our commitment to delivering safe, comfortable, and reliable public transport for passengers,’ she added.

Wardhani noted that Transjakarta continues to strive for public transport services that adapt to community needs.

Transjakarta has urged passengers to adjust their travel times and plan their journeys in advance during the service adjustment period.
