PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has announced the suspension of services for routes 1N (Tanah Abint-Blok M) and 10D (Tanjung Priok-Kampung Rambutan) starting from 1 July 2026. Both routes will serve passengers for the final time on 30 June 2026.

Transjakarta explained that the service suspension is being implemented to reduce overlap with other routes serving the same road corridors. The measure is also intended to allow the fleet to be reallocated to routes with higher passenger demand.

“We are taking our leave to reduce service overlap with other existing Transjakarta routes passing through the same road segments. This way, fleet operations can be used more effectively to support other routes with higher demand levels,” Transjakarta wrote via its official Instagram account.

For public transport users, the discontinuation of a route does not necessarily mean access to a destination is closed. In many cases, journeys can still be completed through transit systems or transfers between integrated routes.

For passengers who typically use route 1N from Tanah Abang to Blok M, the journey can be completed by using route 9D from Tanah Abang, then transferring at the Plaza Sentral Bus Stop and continuing the journey using route 1P towards Blok M. Meanwhile, for travel from Blok M to Tanah Abang, passengers can use route 1P, transfer at the Benhil 3 Bus Stop, and then continue using route 9D.

As for users of route 10D travelling from Kampung Rambutan to Tanjung Priok, two travel options are available. Passengers can use route 7F from the Kampung Rambutan Stop and transfer at the Utan Kayu Rawamangun Stop before continuing their journey using route 10. An alternative is to use Corridor 7 from the Kampung Rambutan Stop to the Cawang Cililitan Stop, then continue using Corridor 10 towards Tanjung Priok.

For the reverse direction, from Tanjung Priok to Kampung Rambutan, passengers can use Corridor 10 and transfer at the Utan Kayu Rawamangun Stop to continue using route 7F. Another alternative is to transfer at the Cawang Cililitan Stop and continue using Corridor 7 towards Kampung Rambutan.

Route adjustments such as these are part of the management of an evolving urban transport network. By reducing service overlap, transport operators can utilise the fleet more efficiently while strengthening services on corridors with larger passenger volumes.

“Even though 10D and 1N are saying goodbye, your journey with Transjakarta will continue,” Transjakarta wrote.
