Transjakarta to Discontinue Routes 1N and 10D by End of June
PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has announced that services on route 1N (Tanah Abang–Blok M) and route 10D (Tanjung Priok–Kampung Rambutan) will only operate until 30 June 2026, as part of efforts to optimise passenger services. This policy is intended to reduce service overlaps with other existing Transjakarta routes that traverse the same road segments. “We have also prepared alternative travel options so that customers can continue to move about comfortably,” said President Director of PT Transportasi Jakarta, Welfizon Yuza, in Jakarta on Friday. Passengers who previously used route 1N to travel to Blok M can use route 9D from Tanah Abang, transit at the Plaza Sentral bus stop, and continue their journey using route 1P. To head towards Tanah Abang, passengers can take route 1P from Blok M, transit at the Benhil 3 bus stop, and then continue using route 9D. Meanwhile, for route 10D passengers, an alternative journey to Tanjung Priok is available by taking route 7F from the Kampung Rambutan bus stop, transiting at the Utan Kayu Rawamangun bus stop, and continuing on Corridor 10. Another option is to take Corridor 7 from the Kampung Rambutan bus stop, transit at the Cawang Cililitan bus stop, and then continue on Corridor 10. To travel to Kampung Rambutan, passengers can take Corridor 10 from the Tanjung Priok bus stop, transit at the Utan Kayu Rawamangun bus stop, and then continue on route 7F. Alternatively, they can take Corridor 10 from the Tanjung Priok bus stop, transit at the Cawang Cililitan bus stop, and continue on Corridor 7. Welfizon expressed hope that this adjustment can be utilised more optimally to support routes with higher travel demand and shorten waiting times without reducing public access to mobility, as alternative routes have been prepared.
