Transjakarta 'Skyline' Corridor Disrupted by Footbridge Demolition, Causing Gridlock
Transjakarta routes 13B Puri Beta-Pancoran and L13E Puri Beta-Flyover Kuningan, also known as the ‘Jalur Langit’ (Skyline), were temporarily diverted on Tuesday (14/7) due to traffic congestion caused by the demolition of a pedestrian footbridge on Jalan Kapten Tendean, South Jakarta. Observations at the location showed that the Tegal Mampang bus stop for routes 13B and L13E had since returned to normal operation, although a significant queue of passengers had built up. Previously, Transjakarta had temporarily suspended services towards Puri Beta that passed through the Tegal Mampang stop. The Corridor 13 service on the Tegal Mampang-Ciledug route was also shortened to Rawa Barat-Ciledug due to the congestion during the footbridge demolition process.
