Transjakarta Routes Affected by Road Closures at Bundaran HI

A number of Transjakarta bus routes were affected by road closures around the Bundaran Hotel Indonesia (HI) and the DPR/MPR building due to a student protest on Friday. Head of Transjakarta’s Public Relations and CSR Department, Ayu Wardhani, stated in an electronic message that the affected routes included 1N (Tanah Abang–Blok M) and 1P (Senen–Blok M), which were temporarily unable to serve passengers because of the road closures near Bundaran HI. Another affected route was 4C (JIEP–Bundaran Senayan), which was shortened to JIEP–TL Graha Mandiri Imam Bonjol due to closures in the Sudirman-Thamrin area. Corridor 1 (Blok M–Kota) was temporarily diverted via Corridor 9 and did not serve the Kebon Sirih to Polda Metro Jaya bus stops. Additionally, Corridor 9 (Pinang Ranti–Pluit) experienced route diversions due to traffic congestion around the DPR/MPR building. For the Pluit direction, some buses operated normally serving all stops, while others used the Petamburan toll road and skipped the Gerbang Pemuda and Petamburan stops. Route 8N (Kebayoran–Petamburan via Asia Afrika) was shortened; buses heading towards Slipi temporarily did not serve the Istora Senayan to Slipi stops, and those towards Kebayoran did not serve the Riset BPK to Istora Senayan stops. Route 6B (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Semanggi) underwent a route change due to road closures, with the Balai Kota direction diverted via Petamburan, though all stops continued to operate normally. Route 9D (Pasar Minggu–Tanah Abang) was temporarily diverted because of closures in the Sudirman-Thamrin area; the Tanah Abang direction did not serve the Bendungan Hilir to Pospol Jati Bunder stops, and the Pasar Minggu direction did not serve the Jambatan Serong to Bendungan Hilir stops. Ayu said customers could obtain updated information via the TJ:Transjakarta app and Transjakarta’s social media. Meanwhile, the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya announced via its X account @TMCPoldaMetro that at 14:56 WIB, traffic flow was diverted on Jalan Sudirman/Semanggi towards Bundaran HI due to the protest. Traffic was redirected via Jalan Gatot Subroto towards Kuningan.
