JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has adjusted services by shortening routes 4B and D21 due to a road subsidence on Lenteng Agung Main Road in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.

As a reminder, route 4B runs from Manggarai Station to the University of Indonesia (UI), while route D21 operates between Lebak Bulus and UI.

The adjustments aim to maintain service operations and avoid the affected road section near SMAN 109 Jakarta bus stop.

“For route D21 from Lebak Bulus to the University of Indonesia (UI), services will temporarily be shortened to Wijaya Kusuma bus stop,” said Ayu Wardhani, Head of Transjakarta’s Public Relations and CSR Department, in a statement on Monday (1 June 2026).

Customers also cannot use services at the Guru Road petrol station bus stop to Nurul Fikri heading towards UI, as well as the UI bus stop to IISIP Campus heading towards Lebak Bulus.

Similar adjustments apply to route 4B from Manggarai Station to UI.

Currently, services operate only up to Wijaya Kusuma bus stop.

The road subsidence on Lenteng Agung Main Road occurred on Friday (29 May 2026).

The road damage has caused traffic disruptions in the area, including Transjakarta routes to Depok and UI.

Transjakarta’s service adjustments coincide with underground channel repair works by the DKI Jakarta Water Resources Department.

“Only from 2 PM today until 5 AM tomorrow,” Ayu said.

During the works, traffic from Pasar Minggu to Depok is diverted via Lenteng Agung Main Road, U-turn at JPL 23 railway crossing or Pancasila University roundabout, then proceed via Moch Kahfi II Road, Tanah Baru Road, and so on.

Alternative routes include TB Simatupang Road, Bogor Main Road, and UI Access Road.

Meanwhile, heavy vehicles from Tanjung Barat to Depok are directed to use the Jagorawi or Desari toll roads.

Drivers can also use alternative routes via TB Simatupang Road, Bogor Main Road, and UI Access Road.
