TransJakarta Redirects 17 Routes Due to Flooding

PT Transjakarta has diverted a number of operational routes after heavy rain caused floods on several roads in Jakarta on Sunday morning, March 8, 2026. Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and CSR at Transjakarta, said 17 routes were affected by the floods. She noted five BRT corridor adjustments: Corridor 2A (Pulogadung 1-Rawa Buaya) shortened to Damai due to flooding on Corridor 3’s Pulo Nangka segment. Corridor 3 (Kalideres-Monas) shortened to Damai-Monas in both directions due to waterlogging and a collapsed road barrier (MCB). Corridor 6 (Ragunan-Galunggung) diverted due to flooding around the Underpass Mampang. Corridor 9 (Pinang Ranti-Pluit) diverted via Tol Slipi 1 due to flooding over 30 cm after the Grogol stop. Corridor 13E (Puribeta-Kuningan) diverted to the upper route due to flooding at the Underpass Mampang. In addition, 10 Mikrotrans routes were diverted. JAK.04 (Grogol-Jembatan Dua) and JAK.30 (Meruya-Citraland) were temporarily halted due to floods at critical points. JAK.85 (Bintara-Cipinang Indah) was shortened to avoid 25-35 cm of water on Jalan Kompleks Cipinang Indah II. Diversions also applied to JAK.108 (Kramat Jati-Bambu Apus), JAK.37 (Cililitan-Condet), JAK.53 (Grogol-Pos Pengumben), JAK.71 (Kampung Rambutan-Pinang Ranti), JAK.75 (Kampung Pulo-Cililitan), JAK.78A (Benda-Penjaringan) and JAK.93 (Jeruk Purut-Kebayoran Lama). Two routes for integrated transport and non-BRT were diverted: 1C (Blok M-Pesanggrahan) due to 50 cm flooding on Jalan Ciledug Raya, and Non-BRT 3E (Sentraland Cengkareng-Puri Kembangan) suspended due to water on Simpang Kapuk. Transjakarta apologised for travel inconvenience and urged customers to stay cautious and check route developments regularly.
