Transjakarta Postpones Closure of Manggarai Shelter, Services Remain Normal

Transjakarta’s Head of Public Relations and CSR Department, Ayu Wardhani, stated that the schedule adjustment is being made to ensure the readiness of the temporary shelter before it is put into operation. “Dear TiJe Friends, we apologise, but the temporary closure of the Manggarai Shelter, affected by the Jakarta LRT construction and the operation of the temporary Manggarai Shelter, is now postponed,” Ayu said in her statement on Saturday (2/5/2026). Ayu assured customers that they can still access Transjakarta services via the Manggarai Shelter, which remains operational at present. “At this time, TiJe Friends can still access Transjakarta services at the Manggarai Shelter,” she said. She explained that the postponement is intended to ensure the temporary shelter is ready for optimal use, thereby maintaining passenger comfort during the adjustment process. “The schedule adjustment is being made to ensure the readiness of the temporary shelter, for the comfort of customers while travelling with Transjakarta,” she clarified. Transjakarta also advised customers to continue monitoring the latest information through official channels, including social media, regarding future developments in the operation of the Manggarai Shelter.
