Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has postponed the temporary closure of the Manggarai shelter, originally scheduled to begin today, Saturday, at 05:00 WIB, in line with the construction of the LRT Jakarta transport mode in the area. β€œThe time adjustment is being made to ensure the readiness of the temporary shelter, for the comfort of customers during their journey with Transjakarta,” said Head of the Public Relations Department of PT Transportasi Jakarta, Ayu Wardhani, in Jakarta on Saturday. As such, Transjakarta passengers can still access Transjakarta services through the Manggarai shelter, particularly for corridor 4 (Pulo Gadung-Galunggung), 4D (Pulo Gadung-Kuningan), 6M (Stasiun Manggarai-Blok M), and B25 (Bekasi-Dukuh Atas). Previously, Transjakarta had prepared Temporary Manggarai Shelters 1 and 2 located on the roadside as an effort to maintain service smoothness. Transjakarta assures that service operations will continue to run normally, with adjustments to passenger pick-up and drop-off points around the Manggarai area. Meanwhile, the progress of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Jakarta Phase 1B Velodrome-Manggarai has reached 91.86 percent. The elevated LRT track crossing over Ir. Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road has been connected 100 percent, and Steel Box Girder (SBG) is currently being installed at the Matraman intersection. The installation of that girder span is an important stage in the LRT Jakarta Phase 1B construction. That section is one of the critical points on the project route.
