Transjakarta Operating from 09.00 WIB During Eid Holiday

Jakarta — The Transjakarta bus service will commence operations at 09.00 WIB on the first day of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri/2026, which is later than the regular schedule.

“Buses will begin operating at 09.00 WIB to provide an opportunity for drivers and field staff to perform the Eid prayer,” said Welfizon Yuza, Chief Executive of PT Transportasi Jakarta, in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Additionally, Transjakarta has set a special fare of Rp1 during the Eid holiday.

During the Eid holiday period from 18-24 March 2026, Transjakarta will deploy several routes to major tourist destinations in Jakarta with regular service operating from 05.00-23.59 WIB.

Tourism buses will operate from 10.00-17.00 WIB to Ancol (routes 5 and 1W) and Ragunan Zoo (routes 6, 6A, 6B, 6V, 5N, 6N, and 7E).

Routes will also serve Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) (route 7D), as well as Kota Tua and Monas (routes 1, 2, 2A, 3, 3H, 12, 1A, 12B, and others).

Welfizon assured that the special Eid holiday service arrangement would not disrupt the performance and quality of service on existing regular routes.
