Transjakarta opens collaboration opportunities for bus stop naming rights

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) is opening the widest possible opportunities for the private sector to collaborate through a bus stop naming rights programme as a form of support for the development of modern, inclusive, and sustainable public transport. “Transjakarta is an open collaboration platform. Transjakarta is not merely a bus provider, but a forum where the private sector, government, and the community can synergise for the progress of the city,” said Transjakarta President Director Welfizon Yuza in a statement in Jakarta on Friday. He emphasised the importance of multi-sector collaboration in building city transport. On Thursday (9/7), Transjakarta partnered with ParagonCorp to inaugurate the naming rights for the Swadarma ParagonCorp bus stop, along with its revitalisation. The inauguration of this bus stop is a follow-up to the signing and launch of the cooperation initiated by both parties last year. Other bus stops with naming rights schemes include Bundaran HI Astra, Senayan Bank DKI, Widya Chandra Telkomsel, Cawang Sentral 1 Polypaint, Petukangan D’MASIV, Senen Toyota Rangga, and Setiabudi Integritas. The collaboration on bus stop naming rights is said to represent a shared commitment to providing modern, inclusive, and sustainable public transport facilities for Jakarta residents. The revitalisation of the Swadarma ParagonCorp bus stop is also claimed to prioritise inclusivity and sustainability through the provision of supporting facilities such as a lift for disabled and elderly access, as well as the construction of a new, safer, and more comfortable pedestrian bridge. This bus stop is a crucial point serving dense public mobility on the elevated corridor. It serves customers for Corridor 13 (Ciledug - Tegal Mampang), Route 13B (Puri Beta - Pancoran), and Route 13E (Puri Beta 2 - Kuningan Flyover).
