Transjakarta Manggarai Stop to Close from 6 May, Here are the Locations of the Temporary Stops

JAKARTA – The Transjakarta Manggarai stop will be temporarily closed starting Wednesday, 6 May 2026, at 05.00 WIB.

PT Transjakarta has assured that services will continue to operate with diversions to temporary stops in the surrounding area.

This information was shared via the official @infotije account. The closure is a result of the construction of LRT Jakarta Phase 1B Velodrome–Manggarai, which had previously experienced delays.

During the closure period, passengers can access services via Temporary Manggarai Stops 1 and 2, located on the roadside.

These temporary stops will serve several routes, namely:

PT Transjakarta has confirmed that service operations will proceed normally, with adjustments to passenger boarding and alighting points in the Manggarai area.

The Head of Public Relations for PT Transportasi Jakarta, Ayu Wardhani, stated that the timing adjustments are for the comfort of customers.

“Timing adjustments are made to ensure the readiness of the temporary stops, for the comfort of customers during their journey with Transjakarta,” she said.

The closure of this stop is part of the LRT Jakarta Phase 1B development, which will connect Velodrome to Manggarai.

The President Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), Iwan Takwin, stated that the project is currently in the operational preparation stage, including system testing and permitting.

The project is targeted to begin operations in August 2026.

In the Manggarai area, the LRT line will be integrated with various transport modes, including the KRL Commuter Line and Transjakarta, to improve connectivity.

Meanwhile, the progress of LRT Jakarta Phase 1B construction has reached 91.86%.

Several crucial works, such as the installation of girder structures at the Matraman intersection, are still ongoing as part of the final construction phase.
