Transjakarta Manggarai Bus Stop Temporarily Closed Starting Today, Here Are the Alternatives

The Transjakarta Manggarai bus stop will be temporarily closed starting today, Wednesday (6/5/2026) at 05:00 WIB. The closure is to support the construction of the LRT Jakarta in that area. Nevertheless, Transjakarta services around Manggarai are assured to continue operating. The Head of Public Relations and CSR at PT Transportasi Jakarta, Ayu Wardhani, stated that this adjustment is made to ensure services remain accessible during the project. Ayu said that Transjakarta operations will continue normally with adjustments to the stopping locations around the Manggarai area. To ensure smooth operations, Transjakarta has also deployed field officers to assist passengers during the adjustment period. “Transjakarta has also deployed field officers to help passengers during the adjustment period,” Ayu said. The closure of the Manggarai stop is in line with the progress of the LRT Jakarta Phase 1B Velodrome–Manggarai construction, which has reached 91.86 percent. Currently, the construction work has entered a crucial stage, including the installation of steel box girders (SBG) in the Matraman intersection area. In addition, the LRT elevated track crossing the Ir. Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road has been fully connected. These stages are an important part of completing the LRT project route, targeted to strengthen public transportation connectivity in Jakarta.
