Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Transjakarta has shortened the route of Corridor 8 service (Lebak Bulus-Pasar Baru) to Pasar Baru-Kebayoran-Pasar Baru due to flooding around the Gandaria City area in South Jakarta on Monday afternoon. “In connection with the waterlogging around Gandaria City in both directions, we inform that at 17.10 WIB, there is an adjustment to the Corridor 8 service on the Lebak Bulus-Pasar Baru route, consisting of a route shortening to Pasar Baru-Kebayoran-Pasar Baru,” said Head of the Public Relations and CSR Department of Transjakarta, Ayu Wardhani, in Jakarta on Monday. In addition to bus services, the Mikrotrans JAK 102 (Blok M-Lebak Bulus) has also been diverted due to waterlogging around Jalan Pasar Inpers. For the time being, the direction to Blok M does not serve stops from Simpang Jalan BRI Radio Dalam 1 to Jalan Pasar Inpers Gandaria Utara. Ayu urged passengers to adjust their travel plans and follow the latest information through Transjakarta’s official channels. Meanwhile, the Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) DKI Jakarta stated that heavy rain hitting the DKI Jakarta area and surroundings today caused a rise in water levels at the Pesanggrahan Post (Alert Level 3) around 16.00 WIB, leading to several floods in the DKI Jakarta area. BPBD recorded that there are currently two road segments affected by flooding in South Jakarta, namely Jalan Swadarma in Ulujami Subdistrict and Jalan Ciledug Raya (Seskoal) in Cipulir Subdistrict, with water levels of 30-70 cm.
