PT Transportasi Jakarta (TransJakarta) is making service adjustments by temporarily closing the Kebon Sirih shelter heading towards the city from Friday (17/7) at 22.00 WIB until Monday (20/7) at 05.00 WIB. Head of the Public Relations and CSR Department of PT Transportasi Jakarta, Ayu Wardhani, stated the adjustment is related to road repair works affected by the MRT Jakarta development.

During the works, TransJakarta services will continue to operate normally. However, customers who usually use the Kebon Sirih shelter towards the city are urged to use the nearest shelter as an alternative for their journey. Ayu said the service adjustment is a form of TransJakarta’s support for the development of integrated public transport infrastructure in Jakarta, as well as to ensure customer safety during the work process.

TransJakarta fully supports the development of integrated public transport in Jakarta. During the temporary closure of the Kebon Sirih shelter towards the city, customers are encouraged to use the alternative shelters provided so that journeys remain safe, comfortable, and smooth. As an alternative, customers can use the Bank Indonesia shelter or the National Monument (Monas) shelter to continue their journey towards the city.

TransJakarta apologised for any inconvenience caused and expressed appreciation for customers’ understanding and cooperation during the works. This service adjustment is expected to support the smooth progress of transport infrastructure development, which will further enhance connectivity and public transport services in Jakarta.
