TransJakarta Journey Disrupted by Floods, Queues at CSW Shelter Stretch Long
Observations by detikcom at the CSW Shelter on Monday (4/5/2026) at 20:42 WIB revealed queues of passengers starting from the second floor of the CSW Shelter. The queues snaked all the way to the front of the escalator. The CSW Shelter is an integrated stop. This shelter connects Transjakarta transport and the MRT. Staff implemented an open-close system to anticipate passenger build-up, thus limiting the number of passengers heading to the fifth floor. For information, the fifth floor of the CSW Shelter is one of the stops for TransJakarta buses on Corridor 13. Passenger build-up was evident on both routes: towards Ciledug as well as Puri Beta and Tendean. According to information from staff at the location, the queues were caused by a temporary lack of Transjakarta vehicles due to flooding in Puri Beta. “That’s right (because of the flood), it (the bus) is stuck in Puri Beta,” said a staff member at the location. Meanwhile, on the first floor of the CSW Shelter, passenger queues also occurred. However, they were not as dense as on the fifth floor. Transjakarta Apologises PT Transportasi Jakarta has issued an apology for the delays in vehicles at the CSW Shelter. “We apologise for the inconvenience experienced by customers on Corridor 13 services (Ciledug-Tendean) this evening,” said Head of Public Relations and CSR for Transjakarta, Ayu Wardhan, in her statement. “Currently, services are experiencing significant vehicle delays due to waterlogging in the Ciledug area,” she explained. Ayu assured that staff are intensively managing passenger flow. She urged customers to remain cautious and follow the instructions of on-site staff. “We are doing our utmost to alleviate the vehicle density and continue coordinating with various parties so that operations return to normal as the flooding subsides,” she concluded.
