Transjakarta extends PIK 2-Blok M route operating hours for Java Jazz 2026

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has extended the operating hours for the Transjabodetabek or Transjakarta route T31 linking PIK 2 and Blok M to ensure smooth public mobility during the international Java Jazz Festival 2026.

Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at PT Transportasi Jakarta, explained that the schedule adjustment applies exclusively during the festival period from 29 to 31 May 2026. The T31 route, which typically ends service at 10pm WIB, will now operate until midnight.

“This service extension is to support passenger mobility needs, particularly for those returning from one of Jakarta’s largest international music events,” Ayu said in Jakarta on Friday, 29 May.

She added that Transjakarta remains committed to providing responsive services to citizens’ evolving needs. With this extension, Java Jazz attendees need not worry about transport access when leaving the venue late at night.

Held at NICE PIK 2, a new hub for large-scale entertainment events, the Java Jazz Festival 2026 features international artists such as Wave to Earth, Daniel Caesar, and Ella Mai, alongside top Indonesian talents including Yovie Widianto, Mahalini, Ruth Sahanaya, and RAN. Transjakarta has urged the public to prioritise public transport to avoid traffic congestion in the PIK 2 area.
