Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Transportasi Jakarta is expanding the implementation of the seat booking system for the premium Royaltrans service, now covering all routes from the previous limitation to just three routes. “We are introducing this expansion of the Royaltrans seat booking service to provide greater certainty and comfort for customers, particularly in daily mobility from satellite areas to the city centre,” said Head of Public Relations and CSR at Transjakarta, Ayu Wardhani, in Jakarta on Wednesday. She explained that previously, the seat booking feature was applied to three Royaltrans routes: S12 (BSD Terminal – Fatmawati), S31 (Bintaro Exchange – Fatmawati), and S14 (Summarecon Serpong – MRT Lebak Bulus). Now, it has been expanded to include the Cinere – Kuningan (D31), Cinere – Bundaran Senayan (D32), Summarecon Bekasi – Blok M (B13), Summarecon Bekasi – Kuningan (B14), Cibubur – Kuningan (6P), Cibubur – Blok M (1K), and Cibubur – Balai Kota (1T) routes. Bookings for departures starting 15 April 2026 can be made from 8 April 2026 through the TJ:Transjakarta app. “Customers can book tickets up to seven days before departure starting at 12:00 WIB, allowing for more thorough travel planning and ensuring seat availability according to needs,” said Ayu. She added that the seat booking system provides various benefits, including assured seating, reduced waiting times and queues, as well as more orderly and measured journeys. “In the future, Transjakarta will continue to develop adaptive digital services oriented towards customer experience,” she stated.
