Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Transportasi Jakarta is diverting route 1 (Blok M-Kota) and the 51ST Shuttle for Car Free Day (HBKB) Ancol due to traffic engineering around Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta, on Sunday, 13 September 2026.

A 10km running event is scheduled to take place from 05:00 to 09:30 WIB, centred at the GBK East Parking Plaza.

“Service operations will be adjusted to support the ongoing event, ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of passengers amidst the applicable traffic engineering,” said Ayu Wardhani, Head of Transjakarta’s Public Relations and CSR Department, in an official statement on Saturday.

She noted that route 1 (Blok M-Kota) will be diverted between 05:00 and 08:00 WIB via Corridors 9 and 13, serving the Tegal Mampang, Rawa Barat, Pasar Santa, Kota Bambu, Pancoran, Petojo, Tarakan, and Tomang Raya stops.

“This route will temporarily not serve the Kebon Sirih to ASEAN stops,” Ayu stated.

Ayu added that, aside from these two routes, other Transjakarta services operating during Car Free Day will continue as usual.

Members of the public are advised to adjust their travel routes and are encouraged to plan ahead by accessing Transjakarta service information via the TJ: Transjakarta application.
