TransJakarta bus routes on Corridor 9 have been diverted because the road in front of the DPR/MPR building has been closed. The section of Jalan Gatot Subroto was shut due to a public demonstration that began earlier in the day.

“Corridor 9: Pinang Ranti - Pluit and Route 9A: Cililitan - Grogol are experiencing route diversions due to the road closure around the DPR/MPR Building,” TransJakarta said via its X account @PT_Transjakarta on Thursday (27/8/2026) at 19.48 WIB.

There are currently no demonstrators in front of the DPR/MPR building. Police have moved to disperse the crowd.

The diversion of TransJakarta Corridor 9 affects both directions. TransJakarta is not serving passengers at bus stops located around the demonstration site.

“For the Pluit direction, the Gerbang Pemuda to Kota Bambu stops are not being served, and for the Pinang Ranti direction, the Kota Bambu to Semanggi stops are not being served,” it said.

In addition to TransJakarta, the Mikrotrans urban transport service is also not operating in the DPR building area.

“Mikrotrans services JAK 11, JAK 12 and JAK 14 are temporarily not operating to serve customers due to the road closure around the DPR/MPR Building,” it said.
